Welcome to Blue 2.0!

Creating the blog was very easy and fun. And I can see where it would be an easy way to share information about a particular topic. The downside is having yet one more place to go or one more password to remember. Can this be integrated into Outlook or some other place I check anyway?

Hi Kate - Blogger is an independent application we can't integrate with the "Link Blue" log-ins at UK. The ID you use here is good for other Google systems, though. I use my Google ID for Google Groups and Google Docs. So that kind of integration helps a little. I think next week's RSS topic will also help you with some info management, at least as far as keeping track of other blogs.

I have just gotten connected again at home. Hopefully, I will have more time to explore the new technologies

The RSS feeds are neat and they make it easy to collect a bunch of blogs, etc together to check all at once.

Bloglines is a neat combination of useful and fun. It is fun to get a word for the day, quotes and horoscopes. I can also see it being helpful in letting someone keep up with several websites, blogs all at once. Now, if I can just figure out how to capture the URL for this message. -- Kate.

I just created a wiki - http://librarycats.pbwiki.com/ and the invite word is the head of my household in all lower case. It is about my cats Mischa, Phoebe, Symba and Romeo. This was fairly easy to do. I am a little confused about what happened to the FAQ page I created. -- Kate.

My account is http://del.icio.us/KateSeago
This could come in handy while traveling. Previously, I just Googled the sites I wanted when I wasn't at my laptop or office.
